Threads of Faith
St. Alban’s Episcopal Church Women’s Ministry is dedicated to nurturing the spiritual growth of women through fellowship, study, and service. We offer various activities and events that provide opportunities for women to connect and support each other in their faith journey.

Ministerial Association
Washakie County Ministerial Association (Made up of ministers from the Worland area to help with food needs as well as financial support for those needing some help to get them through the month). We support the downtown facility with food donations throughout the months from our congregation. The clergy meets once a week for breakfast to discuss some of the needs as well as fellowship.

Born Again
This is a ministry of St. Alban’s Episcopal Church, it is a secondhand store, which has slightly used clothing for the entire family as well as shoes, purses, and household items. These items are donations from around the Big Horn Basin. The income from these sales, then Born-Again Clothing, Etc., makes donations in the communities of Worland, Ten Sleep, Thermopolis, Basin, Greybull.
The store is open Tuesday through Friday from
10:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Ministries

ECW
The Episcopal Church Women (ECW)
are all the women in our church. They provide Memorial Dinners and fund raiser in the community such as the Bluegrass – BBQ Festival. With these funds they do outreach in the community and other ministries, as well as doing beautification projects in our church.

Eucharistic Ministers
At St. Alban’s we have a very dedicated member who takes the Eucharist to our parishioners that are not able to make it to church. Carolyn Gentzler is always willing and takes the Eucharist to assisted living during the week. We have others as well as the priest that is always willing to travel anywhere needed to distribute the Lord’s supper. If you know of anyone desiring the Lord’s supper please contact the church.

Congregational Care
St. Alban’s is blessed to have a congregational Care Team that meets once a month to discuss the needs of the church as we go to members homes that would like a visitation from the team. Most of the time we are making sure we are in contact with those that are not in church and might enjoy a visit from some of the members. We usually go out in pairs to visit those at home. If the congregants do not want a visit we try to call at least once every other month. It is sometimes comforting just to know if you can not make it to church someone will still be praying for you on a regular basis. If you know of someone who needs prayer please call the church.
