St. Albans is partnering with Powel, Cody, Meeteetse, and Worland in Powels project to reuse glass by crushing it and making sand that is used for landscaping throughout the area.  They are not able to keep up with the demand for this type of sand.  Linda Anderson will be taking the glass to Powel for us to be recycled.

We at St. Albans have placed a barrel in the court yard that we are asking people to bring old glass, jars, etc. that would be thrown in the landfill.  This is a way that we can be a part of saving our planet.  Please remove lids, labels, etc. from the glass to be placed in their machine.
